I am a superhero
Something I probably don’t do near enough is toot my own horn. But I have two things to honk about, namely a bladder infection and barotitis. In the past week I sustained both of these, the first from some, er, aerobic exercise, and the second (an inner ear infection) from a plane ride. The bladder infection was BAD - it felt like a freakin’ boulder in my abdomen. Notwithstanding that it was 110 degrees outside, I was miserable. Cranberry juice or tabs are no match for the superbugs that ravage my urinary tract; generally the only thing that has helped is energy work from my dearest friend. But I just didn’t want to call upon her, since I had engaged in some, er, aerobic exercise just a month ago and had to have some urgent energy work then.
I racked my addled brain for what to do. I have a huge stash of Young Living essentials oils, and yet I forget how well they can work sometimes. Intuition leaned over and said to fill a capsule up with an herbal antibiotic - 10 drops oregano, 4 drops lemon and 2 drops mountain savory. I took one every two hours for 8 hours (4 capsules in all) and then another before bed.

The next day, the bladder infection was gone. No more boulder. Intuition is great when we listen to it, eh?
For the past few years, every time I fly I get barotitis. I’m not sure why this is, but a few hours after the plane lands, I am dizzy and disoriented. It had been a while since I flew, but I remembered how well Oregon Grape root works on this, and sure enough, after a day and a half of taking a dropper full in a wee bit of water, the dizziness was gone.
(I provided the link for more info, but you can pick up Oregon grape root at your local natural foods store.)
So for someone who gets infections constantly, and for whom it seems like illness is my middle name, today it’s Me: 2; Infection, 0. HA!

Way to go wonderwoman!!!!
