McFresh Forever

Salt is a preservative. This is why you can find a McFrench fry underneath the seat of your car months after a McMeal and it will still look the same. It takes a looooong time to be broken down. However, McDonalds also puts salt (and sugar and trans fats) in their burgers & buns, too.

Morgan Spurlock (”Supersize Me”) recorded a video experiment observing the lifespan of some McDonald’s burgers and fries in a covered glass jar.
