Make-a-Flake
Apparently it snowed today in Portland. I must have blinked and missed it, because the ground is still green. Although it is cold as a witch’s [xxx] in Alaska at midnight, and could warrant the gorgeous/scary white stuff at some point. In my humble opinion, making your own snowflakes is a mighty nice substitute for snow, and all of winter at that. It does classify as a colossal internet time-waster, like YouTube, or Snood, yet is highly therapeutic for us weather wimps.
My effort, below, is not exactly the most artistic, but it does represent winter holiday symbols from a variety of different faiths - Jewish, Christian, Native American, and Alien.
