Dial M for Miracle

Every so often, in my search for spiritual growth compadres, I come upon a group or organization that appeals to me on a deep level. I heard about one recently via a free webinar, and I tuned in. Sherry Daniel, apparently the founder of this group, sounded very down-to-earth and rational. She spoke about how some people are misusing the law of attraction to get more things at the expense of disenfranchising others. An example of this is getting rich off building weapons or inventing a new chemical which poisons a third world country. Or peddlers peddling various MLM herbal drinks, blithely ignorant of properties and contraindications, but nevertheless intent on roping people into their downline. So I sat in my comfy chair listening intently to this woman speak of compassion and integrity and living a life of joy instead of suffering and felt blessed.

Afterward, I trotted over happily to Dream Heaven, their website. Daniel advocated getting soul readings, psychic readings that purport to name what you are here to do in this lifetime on earth. A veteran of such divination, I thought I might want to get one, if only to clarify that I am here on earth to do something more than blow spitballs and scratch my crotch. Someone else presenting on the webinar mentioned the “Miracle School” and I wondered where it was and could I enroll next semester. I found all the info on their website.

As I read, memories of a similar organization - a psychic institute in Berkeley - surfaced. It was one I had been briefly involved with before I realized they were nuttier than a peanut farm, the biggest tipoff being they took pride in being on the FBI’s top ten list of cults.

Well, it doesn’t take a psychic to intuit that this dreamheaven group is a cult, and Ms. Daniel is its leader. They go overboard on inish caps, delineating Special Words, as if they are in common usage but are really made up jargon by this group meant to confuse you and make you ask what they mean. If you don’t know the language, you are ‘out’ and if you do, you are ‘in,’ essentially. Laughable example: One of our Heaven Consultants will get back to you about leading a Miracle-based life. The wonder and mystery of the universe, the creator, the source - whatever you want to call it - has become their marketing tool.

Of course I haven’t even mentioned the ease with which Ms. Daniel speaks of being a voice for the “Direct Source,” and other beings on other planets, and their sadness that we are fucking up Earth so much. Because it doesn’t take an Atlantean to see that. Or the fact that during the webinar, I asked a question about how to connect to “Source,” and was told that I had a “blockage in my heart chakra” and that it would be impossible for me to do so without working with her personally by scheduling a soul reading.

Which leads me to the pièce de resistance of this group, found by scrolling down to Correct Exchange. You can see the different lengths and prices for soul readings, and a 1-hr. soul reading is yours for only $621. Tack on an extra half hour and the price rises to $888.

Gee, Heaven sure is expensive. I guess I’ll be going to the other place.

Over the past several days, I’ve been doing some checking up on Ms. Daniel and all of her business names. I should be on Medium for all my investigative whims. There isn’t much on her on the web, but Ms. Daniel was taken to court by one of her former therapy clients. Unfortunately, the client lost due to discovering how badly she was abused only after the statute of limitations ran out. Yet it in no way absolves Ms. Daniel of her horrific behavior as a professional counselor. She is a predator.

And me, I am grateful for listening to my intuition in warding off this charlatan. I am living a miracle-based life.
